About Josh Hickman

Born in Washington, D.C., Josh Hickman started drawing at an early age. After studying art at the Booker T. Washington High School For The Visual And Performing Arts in Dallas, he studied art and film, earning a degree in Radio/Television/Film from the University of Texas at Austin. He has worked in film - experimental, documentary, and narrative. His artwork has been displayed at the Dallas Museum of Art, The Trammel Crow Sculpture Collection (Dallas), and various galleries including Now Space in Los Angeles, and he has garnered one-man shows at The Where Gallery in Silverlake, Los Angeles, and Hellada Gallery in Long Beach, CA. Pieces both original and commissioned, including murals, adorn several houses in the Hollywood Hills, the area of Los Angeles Mr. Hickman calls home. He was a member of Captured Aural Phantasy Theater L.A. for  six years, often serving as narrator. Also a writer and musician, Mr. Hickman has produced three albums: A Handful Of Love (2011), Something For The Ladies (2012), and This House Is Haunted (2013), a loving homage to childrens' spooky Halloween records of the 1960's-70's.
